My art-making process is a form of devotion. A line is not decorative, it is evidence of my attention. Through my work, I am thinking in real time, allowing perception to move from mind to hand without interruption. The paper becomes a site where cognition slows down enough to be witnessed.
In painting, I turn toward our histories, layering memory, ancestry, and lived experience so they can be seen, questioned, and honoured. I am interested in what endures beneath the surface and how images can hold both personal narrative and collective inheritance at once.
Alchemy guides my process. Transformation is not a theme but a discipline. Materials shift, meanings evolve, and through that shift something essential reveals itself.
In my ceramics, I work directly with earth as life force. Clay carries weight, memory, and elemental intelligence. I keep the forms grounded and intentional, allowing fire and mineral to speak.
Across all mediums, my practice is an act of reverence for matter, for history, and for the quiet power of sustained looking.
